IDGC of Centre is performing reprogramming of multi-tariff electricity meters of consumers

14 December 2011

IDGC of Centre has organized a campaign for reprogramming of multi-tariff metering devices owned by residential customers and connected directly or indirectly to the electric grid of IDGC of Centre.

The need for reprogramming of multi-tariff electricity meters arose after the signature on June 30, 2011 of the Federal Law by President of the Russian Federation “On Time Computation”, which abolished the transition to daylight-saving.

In order to have your electricity meter reprogrammed, you should:

1. Submit an application for reprogramming of your device by one of the following ways:

— calling the 24/7 Direct Power Hot Line at: 8-800-50-50-115 (toll free);

— via Internet-reception on the corporate web site of IDGC of Centre at: www.mrsk-1.ru;

— visiting the Customer Service Centres, which addresses are listed on the web site of IDGC of Centre in the section “Clients” at: http://www.mrsk-1.ru/ru/clients/customer-service/centers.

2. Provide access for an employee of IDGC of Centre to your metering device at the agreed with an electric grid company time. The presence of the owner of the device is obligatory while an electrician performs his work, since the device reprogramming will result making of the Act of the metering device check (2 copies).

An employee of IDGC of Centre during the work performance must carry an identity of a specialist of the company of the established form, signed and corporate sealed. Reprogramming of the metering device is performed within 30-60 minutes. To determine whether the reprogramming of the device has been performed, it is necessary to verify the actual time of day with the time on the display of the metering device: the time must be the same.
