IDGC of Centre was honored with the diploma of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belgorod region

From August 4 to 6 at the exhibition “Modern city” in Belgorod IDGC of Centre presented the exposition “Smart city” devoted to implementation of the energy saving project in the territory of Belgorod region.

The exposition of the Company was very popular among visitors of the exhibition. The most interest was arisen by smart meters “Neuron” which had high accuracy class and allowing an owner to get information of amount of consumed power, voltage in grid, total capacity of operating devices by pushing special button. The device provides an owner the opportunity to move to “day-night” tariff. 33 thousand “smart meters” have already been installed in Belgorod region. 85 thousand devices more will be installed in the divisions of IDGC of Centre till the end of the year 2010.

The energy saving “smart lighting“ was honored with the medal of the exhibition which high estimate of organizers confirmed innovative significance and practical value of the project of automated outdoor lighting control system “Helios”.

Smart light saves both energy and human labor powers. Repair team should not visit the scene and switch over a lamp switch timer manually. Now it is done remotely using computer. The system controls condition of grids, accounts power consumption, detects number of burnt out lamps.

“The exhibition is one of ways to propagate principles of rational consumption of resources, thermo-, energy saving. In particular, the project “Smart city” and its composing part “smart grids”, – Vitaly Pertsev, the Head of the Architecture and Construction Department of Belgorod region, noted. — The exhibition showed the interest of consumers in further prospects of development of power efficient concept on Belgorod land”.

Valery Skrug, the President of the Belgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked all participants of the exhibition for work, having marked good preparation and great number of presented innovations which provided the opportunity to use rationally construction and power resources.
 
On the last day of the exhibition Evgeny Savchenko, the Governor of Belgorod region, visited “Belexpocentre”. He was interested in a number of presented innovative developments and got acquainted with the exposition of IDGC of Centre.
