Hotline of power engineering specialists:
Power engineers of the division of IDGC of Centre — “Kurskenergo” demonstrated operation of power system of Kursk, programs of reliability improvement, production and environmental safety to Ecuadorians. In Grid Management Centre (GMC) of Kurskenergo the scientists were informed on operational functions of GMC, conditions of work of dispatchers. The guests from Ecuador were observing in real-time mode how capacities of power consumption of large industrial enterprises and population of Kursk region were changing.
Khuan Karlos Paes, Head of the delegation from Ecuador, noted: “We are glad that IDGC of Centre has shared the unique and useful working experience with us. We could see ourselves how power system of Kursk operated. Our delegation saw up-to-date equipment and technologies being used in the Company, got all necessary explanations including those regarding issues of security protection. Experience and achievements of such leader company as IDGC are very important for our country.
As representatives of South-Western State University of Kursk note this is the first time in history of Russian-Ecuadorian relations when such big group of specialists has visited Russia.
Foreign specialists also visited Mikhaylovsky mining and processing combine, test fire laboratory, MUE “Kurskvodokanal”, Zolotukhinsky sugar mill, Kursk nuclear power station and several processors.
