The Head of Lgov city of Kursk region expressed thanks to the General Director of IDGC of Centre

In the night on June 26-27 there was thunderstorm front accompanied by  heavy rain and rushing mighty wind exceeding 25 meters per second in Kursk region. Lgov city suffered most of all other localities of the region; 41 transformer substations cut off, more than 1000 people were left without light there because of falling of trees and branches on power transmission line.

Five operational and repair teams of the division of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo equipped with all necessary special machinery and devices started immediately elimination of power disturbances in the city. As a result of self-sacrificing efforts of Kursk power engineers who changing one another had been working day and night works at disturbed overhead transmission lines had been completed, power supply of consumers had been restored by 13 p.m. of June 27.

“Please, accept my wishes of strong health, welfare, success in work and effective cooperation for the good of residents of our city”, — the Head of the city emphasized in letter.
