Dmitry Lagunin, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre for IT and Management Methods, representatives of the Directorate of the companies “Systel Automation”, “Sciener”, Telvent DMS, ACE Enterprises participated in the discussion.
The main topic of negotiations was adjustment of IT-solutions applied in the pilot project of implementation off OMS/DMS-system by IDGC of Centre. OMS/DMS-system being applied in Belgorod division of Power Grid Company is intended to operative and technological management of grids and has instruments allowing to reduce technological fault clearing time. Implementation of this project will allow power engineers to localize electric equipment failure accurately and operatively, control grid voltage, model modes, plan development of grid, and calculate efficiency indicators and so on.
Within the frameworks of the meeting specialists of Slovak company ACE Enterprises presented universal integration solutions which may be used in OMS/DMS project to power engineers, and representatives of the company Telvent DMS and “Systel Automation” told about results of works on integration of SCADA and SAP.
“With the help of these recent developments separate elements of “smart grids” and already existing SСADA, ТОРО, IS-U systems may be united in unified complex that can be powerful analytical instrument with operative information display system”, — Dmitry Lagunin noted.
Following the results of negotiations decision on creation in IDGC of Centre of working groups on implementation of OMS/DMS project and study of possibilities of use of solutions of ACE Enterprises was taken, principal conditions of this work performance were determined, measures of top-priority were set out.
