Sergey Vakhrukov noted: “Today we are singing the Agreement with power engineers of the Unified Operating Company of Centre which is not the first one. The previous one is performed in full. We have achieved all the results we planned. The main of them are as follows: we have improved reliability of power supply and increased power efficiency. In today’s Agreement the opportunities emerging before us are very important for us. We are planning that power engineers will keep participating in our program of power efficiency and in development of cogeneration power industry as well, and investment program of the Company will be synchronized with development of investment sites of the region, new territories and technology parks”.
The Governor of Yaroslavl region noted as well that the most important problem is integration of power grids of the region in safe keeping. “We see them under management of stable and reliable company such as IDGC of Centre — you are marked with state approach to problem solving and state responsibility”, — Sergey Vakhrukov emphasized.
Power engineers of IDGC of Centre and the Government of Yaroslavl region agreed on creation of favorable conditions for technological connection to the Company grids in Yaroslavl region. As a result of performance of intended measures on construction, reconstruction and technical re-equipment of power grid facilities within the territory of the region there will be opportunity of development of generating capacities. The top-priority goals of cooperation will be implementation of innovative power saving technologies (“smart grids”) on the basis of up-to-date, technically packed systems and devices.
Evgeny Makarov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, said: “The main emphasis in Agreement is put on power efficiency. This is, first of all, integration of power grids of the region and increase of power saving which includes our participation in development of cogeneration power industry and the project “smart” grids”.
To increase socioeconomic level of the region, to ensure safety and comfort of citizens the works on reconstruction of outdoor (street) lightning and enhancement of power grids for output of electric power from cogeneration facilities will be continued. Power engineers of IDGC of Centre and administration of the region are intended to cooperate concerning issues of power grid complex integration within the territory of the region, to carry out joint measures on recovery of ownerless power grids accepted transfer of ownership of the Company and to improve quality of power supply of socially significant facilities connected to the grids of the branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC — “Yarenergo”.
The Agreement will allow conducting agreed upon technical, social, financial and tariff policies. By means of it needs in power resources of industry, agricultural producers, enterprises of housing and community amenities, of small and medium business will be satisfied.
“I am pleased we have not turned out to be a drag of the development of Yaroslavl region for a single minute. Power engineers of IDGC of Centre have provided new industrial facilities with electric power in advance. We follow the region development program closely and are ready to come to the region with additional initiatives. Today I with pleasure shall put into operation new substation “Kotorosl” constructed using up-to-date technologies. I am sure that it will be not only the power centre of the city, but also its worthy ornament”, — Evgeny Makarov noted.
