Power engineers of IDGC of Centre took the fourth place at the sports and athletics meeting of IDGC Holding

During two days the team of power engineers of IDGC of Centre was among the leaders. Oleg Tsvetkovsky from Voronezhenergo took the first place in senior age group in swimming. The team of IDGC of Centre wan four silver medals in real winter kind of sport — skiing race: it wan three medals in individual championship and one medal in relay. Sergey Potapov and Alexandr Sidorenkov from Smolenskenergo, Alexandre Arkhipova from Yarenergo and Elizaveta Kostrova from Tverenergo wan silver. Margarita Zaitseva from Voronezhenergo wan bronze in individual championship in swimming among women of junior age category.

Mass race – Track-2014 devoted to forthcoming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi was held out of point-count. Men and women of IDGC of Centre swept it.

Alexey Zelensky, the Director for Personnel of IDGC of Centre, JSC, remarked: “Our sportsmen made a good showing; they were zealous in striving for victory. And although we took the fourth place as the last year this time margin from the third place was small. Our sportsmen made significant strides in skiing and swimming, took the first places more”.

The participants of the competition noted that wonderful reception was organized for sportsmen in boarding house, and sports ground satisfied international level. This allowed each power engineer to fulfill his potential and to achieve excellent results. IDGC of Centre and Volga region, JSC became the leader in team championship, IDGC of South, JSC and IDGC of Volga, JSC took the second and the third places respectively.
