The power engineers of the centre of Russia were set the difficult tasks: increase of efficiency of production and management, adoption of innovation technology, interregional integration of power grid complex, renewal of networks to the level of world standards.
Evgeny Makarov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, remarked: “We have passed the infancy successfully. These five years became the important stage in development of our Company. For the short time period we succeeded to perform the processes of productive assets integration within the framework of the Unified operating company and to achieve significant increase of production and financial indicators, having nailed down for ourselves the dominant positions in power grid complex of Russia. This result became possible due to successful completion of large projects on running of new and modernization of existing capacities in all 11 regions of our presence. We laid a foundation of further successful development and increase of efficiency of Company’s work: we have implemented the progressive matrix system of management, the assets management intelligent system for monitoring of resources, invested the development of personnel providing preparation of the best specialists in industry”.
For 5 years IDGC of Centre was able to demonstrate leading in many areas of activity. For this period the Company built 10 substations 35―110 kv, instituted 10 500 kilometer of power transmission lines.
In 2005 in Belgorod, for the first time within the territory of Russia, IDGC of Centre opened Client Servicing Centre (CSC). Later CSCs appeared in all branches of the Company. Creation of Centres on the basis of modern managerial and informational technology became instance of unification of service subdivisions of power enterprises, which intended for effective interaction with clients.
In 2007 the system of centralized client servicing was formed under which the unified client servicing standard was developed, the common multichannel telephone number 8-800-50-50-115 was organized, by which the client can make free of charge call from any point of regions of Company’s responsibility zone. IDGC of Centre was the first in distribution power grid complex of the country which received certificate of conformity of quality management system to requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2000.
In 2008 IDGC of Centre, JSC was honored with international award for the project “Development of IT-system” for perfection in management of projects IPMA (International Project Management Association). Automatic system of street lightning management “Gelios” is implemented in all districts of Belgorod region, and “Kurskenergo” is registered in “All-Russian Book of Honor” as an enterprise promoting social and economic development of territory.
Anniversary year 2009 appeared to be significant for the Company, rich of bright, important events. Since the 1st of January three branches of the Company ― “Belgorodenergo”, “Lipetskenergo” and “Tverenergo” have been among the first in Russia which implemented the tariff making method RAB within their territory. For the first time in the History IDGC of Centre during one year put into run three large modern substation of capacity 110 kv in Belgorod, Kostroma and Lipetsk. All substations are built with use of the newest power saving technology and modern equipment and demonstrate innovation approach of the Company to development and modernization of existing power grid complex of electric power industry. The important achievement of the Company became the creation of Grid management centres on the basis of the most up-to-date technologies.
Company SAP awarded the title of the best referential client 2009 to Unified operating company of Centre Единой. Federal state institution “All-Russian Research Institute of labour protection and economics” awarded certificate of honor fro high level of labour protection organization to IDGC of Centre, JSC. Evgeny Makarov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre, JSC, joined the ranks of the most professional government officials of Russia.
