The most popular way of contact in 2018 was the client’s personal account (98.2% of calls). Over the year, the number of applicants to apply for connection to the power grids with the help of this service increased by 250 times (in 2017, 14 applications were sent to the personal account). In order to submit an application in this way, it is enough for a consumer to go from the tab “Grid Connection” (GC) on the main page of the company’s website to the “Personal Account” tab or go to the “Customer Account” tab in the “Consumer/Customer Service” section. The service allows you to further monitor the progress of the application, familiarize yourself with the contract and technical conditions, to trace the change of stages on the application and the implementation of measures under the concluded agreement on the implementation of grid connection. In addition, in the “Personal Account” there is an opportunity to submit an application for the service of grid connection support or even sign an agreement using an electronic signature without visiting the grid company.
The client may also submit an application for grid connection using the official Grid Services Portal. The portal has a cost calculator with which the client has the opportunity to calculate the cost of grid connection.
IDGC of Centre’s website contains an interactive map with information on service areas and loading of substations of 35-110 kV with geo-referenced areas. It allows potential applicants to familiarize themselves in advance with the resource possibilities for the supply of electrical power in a particular area for planning of construction and connection of facilities.
