IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division completed the fourth season of students’ construction crews. During the month, students of the Power Engineering Department of the Kostroma Agricultural Academy (KGSHA) carried the labour watch at the enterprise’s facilities as part of the crew "Energy44". The closing ceremony took place at the site of Central Distribution Zone in Kostroma. Leaders of Kostromaenergo and KGSHA took part in it.
15 members of the construction crew "Energy44" worked at City and Kostromsky Distribution Zones. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, they participated in routine inspections of transformer substations, checking power lines, taking readings of electricity meters, removing logging residues during clearing of ROWs along 0.4-10 kV overhead lines. The young people also had good leisure. They visited the "Severnaya" substation on a tour, co-organized a safe game for children in the recreation camp "Children of Berendeyevka", and played bowling, volleyball and badminton with workers of Kostromaenergo.
At the close of the working season, the management of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre summed up the results of the summer shift and handed the students work books.
"We learned a lot, although at first it was not easy. We were very much helped by the support of experienced workers. In Kostromaenergo there are real professionals responsible for the result of their work. In the future, we would like to replenish their ranks," shared the member of "Energy44" Alexey Pischugin.
"Under the leadership of our best specialists, the students received their first professional skills. We hope that the experience gained will help them in the future. Kostromaenergo will continue to cooperate with specialized educational institutions, enabling their students in practice to get acquainted with the subtleties of the chosen profession," stressed Evgeny Smirnov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Kostromaenergo division director.
