This year, on the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division traditionally took part in several events at once.
The main attention on the eve of the celebration of the anniversary of the Victory was paid to veterans of Lipetskenergo. Separate meetings with them were organized and memorable gifts were presented. Care for veterans includes the provision of material assistance, the organization of annual meetings, assistance in solving household problems and much more.
Celebrations for veterans and workers of the rear, held annually at Lipetskenergo, are a symbol of continuity of generations, and also demonstrate the responsible position of the branch management towards people who provided development of the Lipetsk power industry.
The All-Russian action "Immortal Regiment" was also paid attention to. The Youth Council, together with the Veterans’ Board, began the final stage of preparations for the solemn memorial ceremony. 25 employees of the branch are getting ready to go with portraits of relatives-front-line soldiers on streets of the city.
Also, within the framework of the celebration of the Victory Day, IDGC of Centre took measures to improve and illuminate the territories of sponsored memorials located in settlements of districts. The staff carried out work on the improvement of memorable signs and territories around them - cleared of debris, painted the peeling areas on memorials, planted flowers in flower beds.
The head of the HR department Ekaterina Mushnikova congratulated veterans and workers of the home front on the upcoming 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War: "9 May is the most important holiday for all residents of our large country," the greeting says. "It unites all generations, all people, whom Russia is dear to. On this day we praise the unprecedented feat of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers, their courage and selflessness, heroism and will to Victory."
