At 10.00 p.m. on 3 October the power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division fully restored electricity supply in the territory of the region’s districts. In total, technological violations were recorded in 10 districts, the work was performed from 4 a.m. It involved maximum of 35 crews, more than 160 people and 39 special vehicles. Kostromaenergo introduced high alert operation mode, the crisis management centre was in operation.
The reason for blackouts was squally wind, which occurred on the territory of the region and led to breaking and whipping of wires, damage to poles.
