Voronezh power engineers use innovative technologies and equipment

28.09.2015

The Voronezh branch of IDGC of Centre is in full swing with the technical re-equipment with changing for the voltage of 110 kV at 35 kV Substation №13 VPI - one of the most important supply centres of Kominternovsky district of the city of Voronezh.

Modernization of the power facility will allow to improve the reliability and quality of electricity supply to existing customers of the most dynamically developing district of Voronezh, including the regional hospital and perinatal centre. This year at the expense of the investment program of the branch over 111 million rubles (excluding VAT) will be allocated for these purposes.

In the process of the reconstruction the Voronezh power engineers use innovative technologies and equipment. So, now at the power facility the installation of five 110 kV compact gas-insulated modules is complete, which will replace the 110 kV switchgear, assembled from traditional electric devices of 12 disconnectors, 5 switches, 2 sets of voltage transformers and 6 sets of current transformers.

These modules have a number of advantages over traditional equipment: minimum cost of operation, fire and explosion safe, lack of environmental impact, compactness. The latter circumstance is the determining factor in dense urban areas.

"We are doing the re-equipment with transfer to the voltage of 110 kV of Substation №13 VPI without increasing the size of the occupied land plot. Five compact gas-insulated modules are installed over an area of 18 square metres. The technical solution was taken due to the need to ensure the placement of the primary equipment in the smallest space," stressed head of the service of substations of Voronezhenergo Vladimir Kalinovsky.
