IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division conducts systematic work to ensure the quality of the electricity supplied to consumers. The effectiveness of the efforts of power engineers is evidenced by the reduction in the Smolensk region for the first half of 2015 of the number of complaints about the quality of electric energy.
"Developed by experts of IDGC of Centre quality management system of electric energy helps work on prevention of complaints about the quality of electricity. For example, in the grid connection procedure staff of the branch of Smolenskenergo performs the necessary analysis of networks at the connection point. Since the branch is responsible to customers of the region for the provision of reliable quality power, it is obliged to verify compliance of the established requirements with the parameters of quality of electric energy," commented leading engineer for power quality of Smolenskenergo Mikhail Korotkov.
The branch pays particular attention to periodic monitoring, which allows to identify and quickly address potential inconsistencies of power quality. In the first half of 2015 Smolenskenergo developed and successfully implemented at 176 facilities of Distribution Zones measures aimed at improving the quality of supplied electricity. Emphasis was placed on the facilities, at which defects were identified affecting the performance of the equipment and for which the largest number of complaints was received. The work performed allowed to improved the quality and reliability of electricity supply to customers.
In the first half of the year the branch successfully passed the procedure of inspection control over the certified electricity to meet the requirements and confirmed the certificate issued in 2014. This is proof of the effectiveness of the measures and the result of successful implementation by the branch of "IDGC of Centre’s policy in the field of quality". In 2016 this certificate is expected to be confirmed regularly.
