About 500 employees of Smolenskenergo were trained and retrained in the first half of 2015

475 employees of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division for 6 months of the year had their training and retraining in various forms and directions. Total training costs amounted to more than 4 million rubles.

In March the training was completed and diplomas of vocational retraining were successfully defended in the branch of "NIU "MPEI" in Smolensk in the specialty "Electric Power Systems and Networks" by ten heads and specialists of the branch. Another 77 employees of the branch had advanced training in the branch of "NIU "MPEI" in Smolensk, in the St. Petersburg Energy Institute for Advanced Studies, in the Ivanovo State Power University and other specialized institutions.

Not less important is the topic of occupational safety training: 59 people improved their skills to test knowledge of safety in the operation of electrical installations, another 40 workers were trained and certified for the right to work with hazardous waste, and 56 employees - according to the rules of fire safety.

An important issue in the field of professional retraining and advanced training is to train specialists of electrical specialization. 79 employees had professional retraining and advanced training in various educational institutions.

"All types of training, retraining and advanced training of staff are aimed at ensuring the constant availability of workers to perform their assigned production functions. These types of training are provided by the standard "Procedure of work with personnel in IDGC of Centre"," commented a leading expert of HR department of Smolenskenergo Alexey Osipov.

Experts of Human Resources Office of Smolenskenergo note that the second half of the year will also be full of training activities. Particular attention will be paid to the training of personnel of mechanization and transportation - 93 drivers will be trained in defensive driving techniques, 46 people will be trained and certified for admission to work as a machinist of bulldozers, six - as a driver of the excavator. Four employees of the service will be trained to be an instructor and mentor and in the future they will be able to test and train newly hired drivers with defensive and counteremergency methods of driving.

Total in 2015 about 7.3 million rubles will be allocated for all types of training.
