IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division summed up the results of work on the connection of consumers to power grids for the first half of 2015. During the reporting period the branch received 3,455 applications for grid connection for total capacity in excess of 68.3 MW, which is 31.3% more than last year. 2,439 contracts with total capacity of 35.1 MW were signed - 23% more than the year before. 1,790 facilities with total capacity of 26.7 MW were connected to the power grids, which is 18% and 13% higher than last year, respectively.
6,188 grid connection contracts for total capacity of 119.6 MW are at the stage of execution, of which 5,751 contracts (93%) with connected capacity of 52.7 MW were concluded with individuals and legal entities up to 15 kW. 331 contracts with total connected capacity of 18.5 MW were concluded with small and medium-sized businesses (from 15 to 150 kW). In the first six months of last year this category of applicants had 84 grid connection contracts of 5.2 MW.
Among the largest facilities connected by Kostromaenergo - there are two transformer substations for power supply of the Shopping and Leisure Centre in the micro-district of Davydovsky-3 in Kostroma and facilities of LLC "Kostroma fishery" in Kadyysky district and micro-district Quarter #11 with an area of residential buildings of 24,281 m2 in Volgorechensk.
According to Head of grid connections of Kostromaenergo Yury Gorikhin, providing convenient and favourable conditions for grid connection of customers to networks is one of the priorities of the branch activity.
