The Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre summed up the safety day, the purpose of which was to check structural units of Distribution Zones of the branch.
The focus was on checking the status of switchgear assemblies (Complete distribution device of external installation - 10 kV) designed for outdoor use, as well as electrical panels. In particular, the presence of distinctive labels, schemes and signs.
A separate item on the program was to control operation of crossings, intersections of power lines with communication lines, roads and railways for serviceable condition of appropriate signaling signs and light warning devices on poles of overhead power lines.
Besides the technical part, the subject of the safety day raised the issue of logs for registration of poles, the availability of certificates of poles serviceability, warning signs and labels, as well as timely changes to the documentation.
"The safety day is systematic activities to identify gaps that may adversely affect the functioning of the energy sector in our region," stressed the head of the department of labour protection and environmental safety of Lipetskenergo Victor Kalinin.
