Managers of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division took part in the events dedicated to the liberation of the city of Orel

5 August is the holy date for all residents of Orel that unites different generations with a sense of pride and patriotism. On the day of the 72th anniversary of the liberation of Orel from the Nazi invaders a meeting of Remembrance was held in the Garden of Tankers.

On this day representatives of the government, local government, religious and community organizations came to express their appreciation to veterans and fallen soldiers, and heads of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division did not stay aside. At the end of the meeting all the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of soldiers who committed the immortal feat, and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.

"Today we bow our heads to the memory of those who did not return from the battlefields. I heartily express gratitude and deep respect for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the participants of the labour front. They defended our right to live in peace, work and raise a family," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division director Andrey Dudin.
