IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division finished the second season of students’ construction crews. Students of the faculty "Electrification and automation of agriculture" of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (KGSKHA) worked for a month at power facilities of the branch as part of the crew "Energy 44". Under the guidance of experienced mentors the young people participated in the renovation work, work related to ensuring the fire safety of substations, laying cable lines, preparation of data for grid connection contracts, as well as in social projects implemented by Kostromaenergo.
The solemn closing ceremony of the students’ construction crew season was held in City Distribution Zone of Kostromaenergo. Representatives of the company and the university addressed with words of congratulation and farewell to the members of "Energy 44". "Thanks to the work in the construction crew, our students have got a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice at the facilities of a major energy company. They were able to show their best side," stressed President of KGSKHA Sergey Zudin. "The construction crew provides an excellent opportunity to give somebody a try in the business, to pass a kind of test of maturity, patience, readiness for the great work. We were happy to share our experience and knowledge with the students, and we hope that in the near future our ranks will be replenished by new talented professionals who have gone through the students’ construction crew school," underlined Head of Human Resources Department of Kostromaenergo Nadezhda Muravyeva.
The students associate with the work in the construction crew the most positive emotions. "We have received invaluable experience, become friends and learned together to solve production problems, overcome difficulties. Now we know firsthand what the work in the power industry is and we are eager further to connect our lives with Kostromaenergo," "Energy 44" Leader Olga Chistyakova expressed the common opinion of the students’ construction crew.
