IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo opened the second season of students’ construction crews. As in the previous year, students of the Faculty of Energy of International Institute of Computer Technology (IICT) will work at facilities of the branch.
Heads of Voronezhenergo and the educational institution said a message to the young people at the solemn meeting devoted to the opening of the regular students’ employment semester. After giving labour permits to members of the construction crew there was a tour of facilities of the branch. In the Grid Control Centre they got acquainted with the specifics of operators and power grid management technologies in the region. And at the 110 kV substation # 45 "Kalininskaya", which provides power supply to the central part of the city of Voronezh, they were able to see firsthand samples of modern electrical equipment.
The construction crew season will last until the beginning of the school year. During this period the future power engineers under the guidance of experienced mentors will take part in the repair and construction work at power facilities of the company.
"Working in the construction crew will help the young people get acquainted with the power industry in practice, understand the nuances and specifics of their future profession. We, in turn, will look closely at them, assess their abilities and personal qualities from the perspective of further employment at Voronezhenego," stressed the head of the Human Resources Office of Voronezhenergo Evgeny Novikov.
