"We are extremely grateful to the soldiers who fell in battles, and those who were approaching the Victory, working in the rear, for what they did for us, for a happy life and a peaceful sky over our head."

Please, be reminded that on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Victory the power engineers landscaped and put in order more than 120 graves of Soviet soldiers. One of these graves was discovered by workers of of Kurskenergo in the Popovkinskaya Cottage forest in the settlement of Tomilinsky in Dmitrievsky district of the Kursk Region. On funds allocated by the trade union of Kurskenergo an obelisk was erected on the mass grave. And thanks to the conducted search operation by the power engineers it was found that army scouts were buried in the mass grave, who in 1942 were surrounded and fought to the last bullet.
