Kostroma power engineers of IDGC of Centre mobilized all forces to eliminate consequences of a natural disaster

Last night, a vast storm front with wind squalls passed through the territory of the Kostroma region. It caused a power failure in Buisky and Ostrovsky districts of the Kostroma region. IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division introduced high alert operation mode, set up operational headquarters, which operated all night and continue to work today. Power engineers of Kostromaenergo promptly proceeded to disaster relief. Currently, 26 crews, 92 people, 29 special vehicles are involved in the restoration of power supply. Forces from other parts of the Kostroma region have been relocated, materials to fault locations of the electric grid equipment are being delivered. The power engineers of Kostromaenergo are collaborating with the administration and the General Directorate of EMERCOM on the coordination of removing damaged trees.

Work to restore power supply in Susaninsky and Galichsky districts have been completed.

Power supply of Buisky and Ostrovsky districts is to be restored today in the afternoon.
