IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division on the eve of the Power Engineers’ Day, which is celebrated annually on December 22, held a solemn reception of veterans of the enterprise. The event took place in the auditorium of Voronezh Distribution Zone and was attended by 60 veterans, the branch management, representatives of social relations and members of the Youth Council of Voronezhenergo.
Chairman of the Board of Veterans of IDGC of Centre and Voronezhenergo Vladimir Skrynnikov greeted the participants of the celebrations:
"Our life does not stand still, and today we are witnessing the rapid development of economy and industry. And the energy industry is developing fast - new technologies are implemented, innovative equipment is commissioned, and the management system is changed. It is extremely important for the today’s generation of power engineers to maintain the commitment to long-lasting traditions, not forget the tremendous experience of industry veterans who stood at the very beginning of our profession. Happy Holidays to all veterans of the energy industry!"
Honoured Power Engineer of the Russian Federation Leonid Fomenkov, speaking further and being the oldest employee of the power industry in the region, also congratulated colleagues on their professional holiday, remembering the names of those who made a significant contribution to the development of the energy system of his native land.
The participants of the event were showed a slide film about the achievements, which Voronezhenergo had in recent years, and the prospects of development of the branch. Creative teams performed for them, among whom there were young employees of Voronezhenergo. At the end of the event the veterans were handed gift sets.
