Yarenergo analyzes work of Distribution Zones

10.09.2014

IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division held a meeting on the results of its activities for the 2nd quarter of 2014. After comparing the results achieved by the district units of the company during the reporting period the best Distribution Zones of the branch were identified, as well as the basic directions of work for the second half of the year were determined.

Comprehensive assessment of Distribution Zones of the branch included an analysis of failures in 6-10 kV grids. In general, the number of process interruptions in Yarenergo decreased by 30.6% compared to the same period last year. The reason for this was the implementation of measures to improve the reliability of power supply and low thunderstorm activity. Indicators of the average emergency response time and duration of power outages were implemented by almost all Distribution Zones. As a result, in total electricity not supplied had a 42.3% reduction. Following the issue discussion it was decided to further decrease the number of failures and relevant indicators. In particular, chiefs of Distribution Zones were requested to update the list of socially important facilities provided with redundant power supplies, as well as for the period of restoration work to focus attention on the interaction with local authorities.

Against the 2nd quarter of last year the grids of 0.4-10 kV had an overall reduction of energy losses by 0.92%. The greatest decrease in losses - 3.42% - was shown by Pereslavsky Distribution Zone.

Another evaluation criterion was the fulfillment of the plans of the repair campaign. Here, all districts showed a 100% result. This is particularly important in the run-up to the autumn-winter operation period, when reliable power supply to consumers in terms of maximum loads will depend on the technical condition of facilities.

Analyzing the work to connect new customers, there was a general reduction in terms of execution of grid connection applications. Currently, this task is a priority for all branches of IDGC of Centre, so the chiefs of Distribution Zones were instructed to work on further optimization of the grid connection activities.

According to the comprehensive evaluation the best results were shown by Pereslavsky, Poshekhonsky and Pervomaysky Distribution Zones. During the meeting reports were also heard on the performance results of Yargorelectroset (100% owned by IDGC of Centre) and JSC "YarEGC" (a joint enterprise of IDGC of Centre and the Administration of the Yaroslavl region). Their work meets all the stated criteria.

"At such meetings, we do not just monitor the dynamics of performance indicators, but also conduct benchmarking - a comparative analysis of the Distribution Zones operation. Customers should receive the highest level of service, so we need to achieve maximum results in all areas. Leadership is the main goal of both our entire company and each employee individually," stressed Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division director Konstantin Kotikov.
