For 6 months 2014 power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division performed 1,061 grid connection contracts. 891 individual housing structures and 170 facilities of different companies in the region were connected to the company’s grid. Compared to the same period last year the number of executed contracts got increased by 18%. During the first six months of 2014 the branch received 1,620 grid connection requests with a total capacity of 59.6 MW. To date, 1,202the agreements have been signed.
Positive dynamics is associated with increasing rates of residential and industrial construction in the Orel region. For example, among the largest connected facilities are OJSC "Oreloblenergo", the neighbourhood "Bolkhovsky" - 6.5 MW, Orel State University - 0.85 MW and the Znamesky selection - hybrid centre - 0.65 MW.
The performance growth is also due to the development of value-added services of Orelenergo to support grid connection contracts. As part of this service Orel power engineers undertake the implementation of the electricity grid connection procedure as a "turnkey" project, including performing the work related to the competence of the customer. Implementation of these activities by qualified staff of one organization significantly reduces the time of contracts execution.
