For 6 months in 2014 IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division spent about 70.65 mln RUB on the repair program, i.e. 38.19% of the total estimated annual cost.
27.59 mln RUB were spent on repair of cables and overhead power lines of 0.4-110 kV, and 22.32 mln RUB on repair of 6-110 kV substations. In the current period 20.74 mln RUB were allocated for repair of motor vehicles, buildings and structures, supervisory process control, instrumentation, and relay protection and automation.
Smolenskenergo’s specialists in the period from January to June repaired 662.13 km of 35-110 kV power lines, 387.72 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines and 271 6-10/0.4 kV transformer substations.
Clearing and extension of ROWs along overhead lines is under way. In the first half of the year Smolensk power engineers cleared 700.96 hectares of ROWs along 6-110 kV overhead lines of trees and shrubs.
Along with clearing the ROWs the branch extended ROWs of 6-110 kV overhead lines. In the period from January to June the extension volume made was 325.93 ha, which is 35.51% higher than the schedule.
The maximum amount of repair work will be performed in the third quarter. The power engineers plan to complete all work on the repair of electrical equipment by October 1 to timely prepare for the operation through the upcoming autumn-winter peak loads.
