IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division with the support of the primary trade union organization held an open championship in football among the region's energy companies. This year 11 teams filed an application for participation. On the territory of the children’s recreation camp "Star" in the annual competitions athletes of the executive office of Tverenergo, production bases of the branch, OJSC "TGC-2", Tver branch of OJSC "AtomEnergoSbyt", LLC "SKB "Teploenergoservice" and the children's health camp competed. For the first time this year students of Tver State Technical University, working as part of a students’ construction crew at Tverenergo, were participants of the sporting event.
At the opening ceremony Head of Human Resources Sergey Zhirkov wished all present only positive attitude, attacks to remember and fair competing spirit, which will serve as an incentive for bringing the sport element in every power engineer’s life, and will be an excellent tool for socio-corporate union of the company.
Games were held in a round system in three groups. Winning teams competed in the final competition for the winner title of the open championship of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division. According to the results of the competition the athletes of the executive office of Tverenergo became the best. The team of power engineers from Torzhok won silver. Third place went to players of LLC "SKB "Teploenergoservice". The winning team was awarded with a cup and a diploma, and the players with a medal and certificate of appreciation.
According to the judges, the best goalkeeper in the championship was Mikhail Vasiliev (Torzhokskaya Production Base), Alexander Ivushkin (Executive Office) was awarded the title of the best striker, and Dmitry Balashov (SKB Teploenergoservice) proved himself as the best defender.
Positive emotions from the joy of victory, networking of power engineers and their families in nature, clean air of the forest and the sunny day created an environment of a health and fitness holiday.
According to one of the students of the construction crew "Power-69", a team member of the Tver production base Maxim Krupsky, he was pleased with excellent organization of the event, several fields were prepared for the matches, and professional refereeing was involved. Football gathered numerous participants - athletes and fans, who were united with friendly atmosphere of the event and the excitement of sportsmanship.
