In Distribution Zones of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division a regular Safety Day was held.
A commission, formed of experts of Safety and Production Control Office of Bryanskenergo, checked the premises, where there are operated compressors, acetylene and storage installations and equipment, compliance of this equipment operation with safety rules. The y also checked whether production units fulfilled labour protection measures, organization of work by specialists authorized to engage in this activity. Results of the check revealed a number of shortcomings that will be addressed within the terms set by the commission.
Matters related to special training were touched upon, and briefings were conducted with staff of structural units of Bryanskenergo. At training centres organizational and technical arrangements for safe operations with analysis of violations were worked out.
Safety Days are conducted in branches of IDGC of Centre regularly, once per month, in order to identify violations and deviations from the requirements of existing rules, regulations, instructions, standards and other documents on occupational safety and measures to address them. According to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director Roman Stefanov, regular days of labour protection in the branch help improve the general state of occupational safety in all subdivisions of Bryanskenergo, and identify hazardous and dangerous factors of production, and create safe working environment for the staff.
