14.07.2014

IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division continues the implementation of investment projects in 2014. To perform all the activities planned under the investment program in the current year the branch allocated over 950 million rubles. For 5 months the capex amounted to 233.5 million rubles in accordance with the plan.

From the beginning of the year the Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre performed reconstruction and construction of 40 km of overhead lines (Conductors) and put 15 MVA capacity into operation.

To date, work on the complex reconstruction of the substation 35/6 kV Kalikino using modern technology and materials was completed. During the activities a more powerful transformer was installed, 1 section of 6 kV buses was replaced with 6 kV outdoor switchgear, oil circuit breakers were replaced with vacuum ones replaced, three 35 kV disconnectors circuit breakers were replaced with motor driven and polymer insulated ones. Premises of the substation were also landscaped and new fencing was installed.

Within the grid connection program work at the substations "South", "Lebedevo", "Hexa", "Bezborodovo" is under way.

In 2014 as part of the investment program it is planned to complete the construction of the 110 kV substation "Lebedevo", which supplies power to a "Hitachi" plant, located in the industrial zone "Raslovo". The plant start-up is important for the economic development of the region.

One of the key stages of the investment program implementation, planned for 2014, is reconstruction of the 110/35/10 substation "South". As part of the measures taken it is planned to commission the third 40 MVA transformer. This will allow for grid connection in the neighborhood "South" of trade enterprises and residential complexes that are part of the retail park "October". The retail park is located along the main roadway connecting Tver with a new federal highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

Implementation of the full range of planned activities will deliver uninterrupted operation of the power grid complex and reliable power supply to consumers.
