Implementation of the repair program in Tambovenergo is ahead of schedule

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the implementation of the repair program for 5 months in 2014. All activities of the program are carried out in full and on time, and, in several areas they are ahead of schedule.

From January to May 2014 specialists of Tambovenergo repaired 82 transformer substations of 6-10 kV and 87 transformers of 10/0.4 kV, which are, respectively, 152% and 100% of the schedule. They repaired more than 320 km of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, which is 12 km more than planned. They cleared about 253 hectares of ROWs along overhead power line (the plan was fulfilled at 109%).

Total in 2014, according to the plan, Tambov power engineers will repair more than a thousand kilometers of 0.4-110 kV overhead lines, 153 transformer substations of 6-10 kV and 168 transformers of 10/0.4 kV; perform comprehensive renovation of four substations of 35 kV; clear over 557 hectares of ROWs along overhead power lines.

"The repair program is implemented by specialists of the branch throughout the year, peaking in the summer. Currently, all work is being carried out in a timely manner. Implementation of the plan will allow Tambovenergo to solve the problem of improvement of power supply reliability, increase the quality of the transmission of electricity to consumers, as well as prepare for the autumn-winter period of 2014-2015," stressed Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Igor Polyakov.
