For 5 months of 2014 IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division received 2,535 applications for electric grid connection of customers, which is 8.8% more compared to the same period last year. Customer contract demand amounted to 93.81 MW. This increase in the demand is due to the rapid pace of social and economic development of the region.
During the reporting period Lipetskenergo signed 2,023 contracts for grid connection of 63.2 MW. 1,635 grid connections with a total capacity 30.85 MW were executed. As a result, electricity was provided to 500 businesses and 1,135 individuals.
Among the major applicants connected to the branch grid in 2014: a transformer substation of 3.2 MW for power supply of a brick factory LLC "TERBUNSKY POTTER" and 2 package outdoor transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV of CJSC "RAFARMA" of 5.3 MW.
Until the end of the year Lipetskenergo plans to connect to the grid of IDGC of Centre about 52 MW. The largest grid connection facilities will be power installations of OJSC "LGEK". In 2015 according to the forecast data the planned volume of connected capacity will be more than 105 MW. Electricity will be provided to such large facilities as TE Techno-shopping centre LLC "FOLIUM", LLC "Motorinvest", OJSC "Chicken Kingdom", etc.
In the past year Lipetskenergo connected 3,594 power installations of customers to the grid with a total capacity of 131.5 MW. Among the connections made there are three major development projects at 14.8 MW, as a result of the completion of which several residential houses and office buildings will be built in Lipetsk, which will have a positive impact on future socio-economic development of the city.

Development of business, the region's attractiveness to investors, and thus quality of life depends on the timely and quality execution of grid connection services. To ensure this development, we commission new facilities, and perform reconstruction of grids and increase the grid connection procedure availability. This activity is carried out in accordance with the company’s technical policy and synchronized with territorial development plans in the region. At the same time we always go one step ahead, creating a reserve of power for the future," stressed Deputy Director for Development and Sale of Services of Lipetskenergo Alexander Kosolapov.
