Bryanskenergo implements its 2014 investment program

07.07.2014

IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division continues implementing its investment program. Execution of activities, included in the document, will provide a total of about 114 MVA of new facilities and more than 103 km of power lines of 0.4 - 10 kV commissioned. The total funding of the program is 531.68 million rubles.

Given that one of the main objectives of Bryanskenergo’s investment program is to modernize and transfer to a new technological level of the grid facilities, a significant amount of funds (over 373 million rubles) will be spent on modernization and reconstruction of power facilities of the Bryansk region. The largest reconstructed facility is the 110/35/6 kV Dormashevskaya Substation, whose costs will amount to 126 million rubles. In the course of work its installed transformer capacity will be increased by 23 MVA, and 35 kV switchgear equipment will be replaced. All this will allow to improve the quality of power supply to consumers in Soviet district of the city of Bryansk, including a large residential complex "River" and social infrastructure facilities, and to provide new grid connections.

Around 58 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of measures to improve reliability. In the course of this work eight substations of Bryanskenergo will be equipped with new high-tech equipment.

In order to ensure connection of new customers, the investment program provides for commissioning of 79 km of overhead power lines of 0.4 - 10 kV and 6 MVA transformer capacity. More than 76 million rubles were allocated for this purpose.

The branch pays particular attention to reconstruction of overhead power lines of 110-35 kV with widening ROWs to improve the quality of electricity supply to consumers and reduce electricity undersupply. This work will be funded in the amount of more than 65 million rubles, which will allow to clear and widen ROWs in an area of 447.4 ha. 23 million rubles will be allocated to improve the distribution grid of 0.4 - 10 kV.

To ensure control over substations from remote control centres the branch implements process control systems. And within the work to improve the observability of the grid, reduce operating costs and extend the life of equipment - systems for improving observability and controllability of grid facilities are implemented. Over three million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

According to Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director Roman Stefanov, the implementation of measures of Bryanskenergo’s investment program will provide reliable and quality power supply to consumers of the Bryansk region, which will be significant contribution of the Bryansk power engineers to the socio-economic development of the region.
