Yaroslavl recently celebrated its 1004th anniversary. On the hometown’s birthday specialists of OJSC "Yargorelectroset" provided electricity connection for holiday programs for all city concert venues.
The employees of Yargorelectroset performed organizational and technical measures for the design, installation and commissioning of the power supply scheme: they laid a 0.4 kV cable line from the substation to the input switchgear, installed a ground loop, made the necessary measurements of insulation resistance and tested equipment. The total aggregate capacity of sound and lighting equipment installed on the connected facilities was 202 kW.
At the time of festive events operational and maintenance personnel were on duty. A total of 24 people and 5 special vehicles of Yargorelectroset were involved. Thanks to concerted actions the company’s specialists recorded no technological disturbances in the electricity grid. The City Day went perfectly. The special merit of the power engineers is decorative lighting of Yaroslavl Cross Point – a unique confluence of the Volga and Kotorosl rivers. By nightfall it lit up with thousands of coloured lights. The LEDs operation was provided by specialists of City District Distribution Zone of Yargorelectroset.
"Our employees have traditionally been involved in the preparation of such events, moreover the City Day of Yaroslavl is a special holiday. The power engineers coped with their task – ensuring reliable power supply and proper operation of the electrical equipment," stressed Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of Yargorelectroset Yury Loganov.
