Yaroslavl power engineers became winners of the city contest "Man of labour"

May 29 at the Great Hall of the Mayor’s Office of Yaroslavl solemn summing up the city contest "Man of labour – power, hope and courage of Yaroslavl" was held.

This prestigious city competition, established in 2003, is held to promote public recognition of conscientious work in modern society, the enhancement of the role of workers in the development of economic and socio-cultural areas of the city.

This year's competition attracted 918 people from 238 organizations. Winners are two employees of OJSC "Yargorelectroset" at the same time: an electrician of a first responding mobile crew Vladimir Novikov and an electrician for operation of distribution networks Yury Roslyakov. Both have already worked at Yargorelectroset over 25 years. They are united not only with the profession but also fidelity to the selected business in which they are engaged in the walls of their native enterprise.

Wealth of experience and technical skills of Vladimir Y. are impossible to replace when necessary to quickly eliminate a failure in 10-0.4 kV networks and restore electricity supply to consumers. Yury V. has participated in the implementation of the municipal program of improvement of parks and squares – in his crew he was installing LED energy-saving lighting fixtures.

This year's championship relay passed to the winners from an electrician of Zavolzhsky Disribution Zone Igor Schegolev, who won the competition in 2013.

"The work of electricians is serious work, and it is important that he is appreciated. Our employees, winning the contest, are experts of the highest level. Thanks to the professionalism, hard work and conscientious attitude to the business, they enjoy a well-deserved reputation among colleagues. They are followed by younger workers and next to them comprehend all the profession wisdom. These people are the main wealth of the company," Deputy Director for Technical Issues - Chief Engineer of OJSC "Yargorelectroset" Yury Loganov is sure.

By tradition, the names of the winners are listed in the Book of Honour of Yaroslavl, their portraits will decorate the lobby of the Mayor’s Office.
