At this time meetings of experts of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division with consumers, held on the site of the Yeletsky CSC and Dolgorukovsky administration, were devoted to the formation of the cost of electricity to large customers and additional services provided by the branch.
Opening the event in Yelets, the head of electricity delivery Office of Lipetskenergo Sergey Vetrov emphasized that calculation of the cost of electricity for businesses was a controversial issue, as today the legislation provides a variety of pricing options. In this regard, enterprises can choose the most advantageous variant.
In accordance with the regulations the cost of electricity is generated from 4 components - the purchase price of electricity, the cost of services of infrastructure organizations of the wholesale market, the cost of services for electric power transmission and distribution in grids and allowances of suppliers of last resort or an electricity retailer. This principle of calculation is used to set the cost of electricity for any price category. Totally there are six such categories. The price category is a kind of rules by which the calculation of the cost of electricity is made, depending on various conditions. Every company has the right to choose its most convenient option.
Also during the event, representatives of the grid company responded to questions of the invited participants concerning power supply. On the consumers’ part the importance of such meetings stressed.
At the roundtable in Dolgorukovsky administration the head of customer interaction Office of Lipetskenergo Sergey Bukarev told heads of rural administrations about the provided by the grid company value-added services. Each year, following the policy of customer focus, Lipetskenergo expands and improves the range of services. To date, the branch’s specialists are ready to provide consumers with 10 kinds of additional services with a guarantee of their quality performance. Among them there are such as maintenance and development of outdoor lighting networks; operational and maintenance and repair of electrical networks and electrical equipment; reconstruction of power supply facilities of IDGC of Centre on behalf of customers (removal/transfer of power grid facilities); providing technical resources of IDGC of Centre; testing and diagnostics of electrical equipment; installation and replacement of electricity meters. The service to perform work related to the competence of the customer in the implementation of the grid connection procedures with the possibility of a unified design documentation package is particularly noteworthy. This service allows consumers to save time searching for contractors, synchronizes timing of activities under the technical conditions, and some discount is provided for the comprehensive service.
