Kurskenergo is among the best in the region in terms of safety and working conditions

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division took the second place in the competition for the best state of safety and working conditions of enterprises, organizations and institutions of the Kursk region. A certificate and a gift to the head of production control and safety of Kurskenergo Alexander Roshchupkin was handed over by Deputy Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Krivolapov.

The competition was held in the framework of the regional target program "Improving the working conditions and safety in the Kursk region for 2012-2015". It was attended by more than 700 organizations. In determining the winners the competition commission considered indicators of the working conditions and safety for 2013.

Kurskenergo well deserved the high place. The high level of safety and working conditions in the branch is indicated by the fact that there has already been no accident for a long time there. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations to work with staff in electricity organizations, Kurskenergo’s staff, including managers, regularly pass all necessary coaching, training and examinations. Employees of the branch are fully provided with overalls, protective equipment and gear. In 2013 34.6 million rubles were spent on the implementation of measures in the field of labour safety in Kurskenergo.
