Kurskenergo improves the quality of grid connection services

IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division summarized the grid connection work in 2013. During the reporting period, experts of the branch connected 2,209 customers to the grid - by 17% more than in 2012. The total capacity of the contracts executed amounted to 48.24 MW.

In addition to the increasing volume of grid connection, last year, an important activity of the branch was to improve the quality of this service. Thanks to the efforts of specialists of Kurskenergo, the average time for consideration of applications for grid connection was cut and made in 2013 21 days and the average grid connection deadline for the category of applicants up to 150 kW was reduced to 107 days.

In order to make the procedure of connecting to the grid not only faster, but also transparent and less costly Kursk power engineers organized receiving requests from consumers for power up to 150 kW with voltage up to 10 kV through the Internet, with the ability to track the performance of the application in real time . At the moment this service is already available to customers of Kurskenergo. In addition, for them step by step instructions on passing grid connection procedures were prepared.
