In 2013 IDGC of Centre – Belgorodenergo division performed 12,395 electric grid connection contracts, of which 10,166 — with residential customers, 2,229 — with legal entities. Compared with 2012, this figure rose by 19.5%. Total capacity of the executed grid connections amounted to about 218 MW.
About 60% of the total number of connected to the grid residential customers accounted for individual developers. Electricity was provided to about 4,500 consumers in private housing construction neighbourhoods. Most actively engineering networks were constructed in the neighborhoods "Razumnoye 71" and "Strelets 72" in Belgorod district. In total, power engineers constructed 165 km of power lines, creating an opportunity for grid connection to electric networks of two thousand consumers. In Starooskol district the most developing neighborhoods were "Maryshkin Log" and "Ponds", in Yakovlevsky district — "Sretensky".
Of the number of legal entities the company executed more than ten grid connections of large agricultural enterprises. Among them there are pig complexes "Kopanets", "Aleynikovo", "Ivaschenkovo" and a transshipment point for animals of CJSC "Alexeevsky Bacon" in Alexeevsky district, "Agro Firm Gertsevskaya", "BioForage" and "Strelets pig farm" in Belgorod district, facilities of CJSC "Veydelevskoye", CJSC "CapitalAgro" and "Agroholding Ivnyansky" — in Veydelevsky and Ivnyansky districts, an animal utilization plant of "Agro-Belogorie" in Yakovlevsky district, "Meat farms-Spark" and "Pig farm Korocha" in Korochansky district, as well as "Krasnoyaruzhskaya grain company", "Breeding nursery of the Savvateevs. Belgorod" in Novooskolsky district and "Natural Resources-M", "Argess" in Chernyansky district.
In addition, last year the grid connection to networks was provided to several digital TV broadcasting stations and more than 120 socially significant budgetary institutions in the region, including hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.
For power supply of new consumers more than 850 km of power lines were constructed, and transformer substations with a total capacity of 268 MVA were installed. Additionally in Belgorod construction of the new substation 110/35/6 "Kreyda" was started, which in the near future will create the necessary reserve capacity for grid connection for new facilities.
