Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division director Ivan Kleymenov received a letter of thanks from General Director of OJSC "Kubanenergo" Alexander Gavrilov. The document expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of Voronezhenergo and personally to their leader "for their professionalism and excellent work, demonstrated in the liquidation of the consequences of freezing rain in the power grid of Kuban, as well as compassion and understanding shown during this difficult minute for Kuban power engineers". Please, be reminded that in late January, the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea were hit with bad weather – freezing rain, snow storm, strong wind caused unprecedented technological breakdowns in the electric distribution grid complex of the region.
In areas affected by the bad weather hundreds of employees of the group of companies of JSC "Russian Grids" from different regions of the country promptly arrived to help colleagues. Among them there were representatives of three branches of IDGC of Centre from the Belgorod, Voronezh and Kursk regions. Four crews with special vehicles from Voronezhenergo were involved in the repair and restoration work.
In difficult weather conditions the Voronezh power engineers installed more than 36 km of wire, 282 insulators, trimmed 331 trees, adjusted 34.29 km of sagging. During the around-the-clock work Voronezhenergo’s crews in total restored 45 poles, repair 46 overhead lines of 10-0.4 kV and 4 transformer substations. As a result, power supply of the area was restored as quickly as possible.
The letter of thanks from General Director of OJSC "Kubanenergo" is the second award to the Voronezh power engineers for their hard work and great personal contribution to the elimination of consequences of bad weather conditions in the south of Russia. Previously, all 23 employees of the branch involved in performing emergency and restoration operations were marked with certificates of merit of a subsidiary of JSC "Russian Grids" - OJSC "Kubanenergo".
