IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division summed up the implementation of the «Program of energy conservation and energy efficiency» for 9 months of 2013.
During the reporting period, the total effect of the implementation of energy conservation measures in the branch amounted to 8.4 million kilowatts-hours and exceeded the targets for 9 months of 2013. Specialists of Bryanskenergo managed to save 0.8 million kW/h through quality work to identify non-metered consumption. Saving of other 4.7 million KW/h is the result of raids conducted to identify facts of non-contractual and non-metered electricity consumption by consumers. In total, power engineers made 27841 tests of measurement systems of consumers — individuals and legal entities.
The total economic effect of the implemented activities amounted to 28 million rubles.
According to the head of the department of energy conservation and energy efficiency of Bryanskenergo Alexey Burenok, performance of activities within the «Program of energy conservation and energy efficiency» is one of the important activities of the branch, as reliability of the electric grid complex and uninterrupted power supply to consumers directly depends on it.
