Additional services of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division are becoming more popular among residents of the Voronezh region. This is evidenced by the number of calls to Customer Service Centres of the branch. So, for 9 months of 2013 Voronezhenergo received 10,686 applications for the provision of value-added services. Total revenue of the branch from this activity amounted to more than 64.5 million rubles, which is higher than the target values.
The most popular additional services are still the installation and replacement of meters — since the beginning of the year the branch has received 9,118 applications for the provision of this service.
Please, be reminded that the replacement of obsolete meters is performed by power engineers within Federal Law # 261 «On energy conservation and energy efficiency», according to which all consumers, without exception, by July 1, 2013 to install a metering device. The law also regulates that apartments can install meters of accuracy class not less than 2.0. According to Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation # 442 meters are to be installed at the boundaries of balance participation of subjects of the retail electricity market: consumers, grid companies and generators. Consumers, who want to replace or install the meter, may apply to the Customer Service Centres of Voronezhenergo to conclude a contract. After that, specialists of the branch as soon as possible will perform the replacement of obsolete metering devices.
In addition, specialists of Voronezhenergo provide services for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of outdoor lighting networks and perform maintenance of electrical networks of 110-0.4 kV. The service «Removal of restrictions on land use» takes a large number of applications as well.
According to the head of customer interaction of Voronezhenergo Sergey Maximov, the demand for the proposed by the branch value-added services is the result of systematic work on their promotion. Voronezhenergo’s specialists regularly carry out activities aimed at raising consumer awareness. In particular, they organize road shows and panel discussions with heads of rural settlements and chairpersons of horticultural nonprofit associations on grid connection and provision of value-added services. In addition, in recent years, employees of Voronezhenergo regularly have taken part in the annual industrial Voronezh forum where they give advice to visitors on installation, replacement and maintenance of modern electricity metering devices; development of outdoor lighting networks, and execution of activities relating to the competence of customers in the grid connection procedure.
