In the Kostroma region the inter-regional youth forum «Patriot 2013» was held. Participants of the educational camp were students and activists of youth organizations of five regions of Central Russia. For the first time employees of IDGC of Centre — Kostromaenergo division were invited to the forum as experts and teachers.
For three days, representatives of the Youth Council and the Department of Public Relations of Kostromaenergo conducted seminars, workshops and master classes with members of the shift. The directions of the social culture of the company aroused special interest among the participants. The members of the Youth Council spoke about the establishment of «corporate identification» in Kostromaenergo, team spirit, about the value orientations, traditions and customs, which are created in the enterprise. The representatives of the branch told about the many theme holidays ( Defenders of the Fatherland Day, New Year ’s Day, Power Engineers’ Day, etc.), promotions («Victory Banner Relay», «Save the energy of the forest»), which are held at the branch.
In the framework of interactive lessons the young power engineers of IDGC of Centre touched upon the theme of communicative interaction, in the form of training they practiced techniques to adapt young professionals to the team, conflict resolution and form a single motivation. A special session was dedicated to the issues of cooperation with various organizations and authorities: Administration of the city of Kostroma and the Kostroma region, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kostroma region, the regional office of «OPORA of Russia».
During the lessons some time without fail was spent on the business game, where participants broke up into groups to develop and present their own projects in their areas of interest. The workshops of Kostromaenergo’s specialists were attended by 200 people — almost all participants of the camp session.
«IDGC of Centre is a close-knit team, united with a high-end task to bring light to people to live a decent life and development,» says Chairman of the Youth Council of Kostromaenergo Zoya Krestenko. «At the same time, our company always looks for new forms and methods of interaction with staff, partner organizations, and authorities. We would be happy to share with the youth of the region lessons learned and new ideas.»
The Youth Educational Forum «Patriot» takes place in the Kostroma region since 2009. Its participants are youth activists of all municipalities of the region. Together with experts young people discuss current issues of the economy, business, politics, and culture of Russia, as well as present their projects aimed at the development of the region.
