IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division provided a capability to connect 1163 plots of individual developers to the grid in Belgorod, Stary Oskol and Yakovlevsky districts of the region. According to the infrastructure development program micro-districts of mass housing estates for 2012 — 2015, approved by the regional government, power engineers for six months constructed more than 65 km of 0.4-10 kV power lines, installed 13 transformer substations with a total capacity of more than 2 MW.

The total annual volume of investments into the development of mass housing estates will be more than 560 million rubles, of which about 70% of the funds will be invested in the actively developing Belgorod agglomeration.
During the construction of infrastructure in the areas of individual housing development the power engineers use standard solutions in terms of reliability and quality of electricity supply, and only the most modern technologies and materials. Power supply for new housing estates is provided using self-supporting insulated wire. Package transformer substations of a kiosk-type supply the necessary power.
