Tambovenergo held training in the specialty «Tree feller»

Before the start mass repair activities in the electric grid in the region 164 employees of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division had their training for the rules of safe production of logging operations.

The training program paid special attention to the theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The specialists mastered the tree felling by chain saws in the development of deadwood impassable cutting areas and burnt wood, glades of trees exposed to icing and snow deposits.

The staff was trained by the instructors of Non-state educational establishment «Training Centre — Lipetskenergo».

The head of Human Resources of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division Olga Vyazovova says: «The tree feller is a complex professional activity that requires specialized skills. Recently, Tambov power engineers have paid particular attention to the expansion of ROWs off tree and shrub vegetation. When clearing ROWs along power lines, much depends on the level of staff training.»

Tree fellers will sharpen their skills at their jobs directly in the course of practical activity.
