Following the results of the first quarter of 2013, experts of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division have completed their planned scope of work for calibration, verification, repair of measuring instruments and quality control of electric energy.
In this case, the department of metrology and electric energy quality organized testing of 745 pieces of reference and working measuring instruments, 103 measuring current and voltage transformers installed in commercial electricity metering systems, and 225 electricity meters. They also measured the power quality in 126 checkpoints.
Good results were also achieved by Kurskenergo in the area of certification of electricity. At the moment the branch has the compliance certificate of quality of electricity supplied for all feeding centres that have residential customers.
As part of the metrological provision of measuring instruments and devices they also performed repairs. Thus, in the first quarter 220 measuring instruments and 314 metering devices were repaired.
Used in Kurskenergo modern devices, i. e. a universal voltmeter B7-78/1, oscillograph-multimeter instrument AKIP-4113/1, mTmeter TPU-01, temperature sensor CENTER 310, temperature calibrator KT-110, high-voltage measuring installation UCC-21, can obtain reliable measurements in the commercial and technical electricity metering, thus increasing energy efficiency.
«Serviceable, with precision and accuracy instruments — the key to measurement accuracy, reliability and quality of electric energy supplied,» says the head of metrology and electric energy quality department — Chief Metrologist of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division Ivan Igonin. «We systematically monitor measuring instruments in order to avoid malfunctions of devices, have expanded scope of accreditation for performing calibrations by our measurement laboratory, which allowed to reduce the cost of calibration of measuring instruments.»
