Kurskenergo’s investment program for 2013 is 992 million rubles

In 2013 Kurskenergo will spend 992 million rubles on the construction, reconstruction and modernization of power facilities.

Most of the funds — more than 540 million rubles — are planned for the modernization and reconstruction of facilities of the branch. More than 435 million rubles have been allocated for new construction. It is planned to spend over 8 million rubles on research and development. The major renovation projects in the current year will be the substations 110/35/10kV «Gorshechnoye», 35/10kV «Orlovka», «Rovenka», «Pristen», and «Mid Olshanka».

There will be also new facilities such as the substation 35/10kV «Mansurovo» and an overhead line of 35 kV from the line «Kshen — R. Kolodez» to the substation «Mansurovo».

Most of the work on modernization and reconstruction is planned in the framework of the program of grid connection. The total amount of funds, allocated for this purpose, is 543.4 million rubles.

Thus, replacement of transformers and reconstruction of 10 kV bays at the substation 110/35/10 kV «Gorshechnoye» is done to perform grid connection of the agricultural and industrial complex of Gorshechensky district. With the same purpose 2.5 MVA transformers will be replaced for 4 MVA at the substation «Orlovka».

The reconstruction of the substations «Pristen» with replacement 1T transformers for a 6.3 MVA transformer and «Mid Olshanka» with replacement of a 2.5 MVA transformers for 4 MVA is to be performed to connect facilities of the agricultural complex «Pristensky».

Deputy Director for Capital Construction of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division Igor Smakhtin stressed: «At this we focus on the implementation of innovative technologies and the use of modern equipment. The investment program execution will increase the reliability of power supply of existing customers and expand opportunities for grid connection of new industrial and agricultural enterprises, as well as infrastructure facilities of the Kursk region.»
