Governor of the Bryansk region held a meeting with the director of the retail branch of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division

12.03.2013

Governor of the Bryansk region Nikolay Denin and the director of the branch «Bryanskenergosbyt» of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Oleg Nosov discussed the first results of the company operation in the status of an electricity supplier of last resort in the region.

During the meeting, Oleg Nosov told the head of region that the company IDGC of Centre had taken all possible measures to ensure that the process of changing the status of a supplier of last resort in the region would not impact the quality of power supply and customer service. He noted that the rates for the region's residents remained at the same level, electricity consumers received their receipts to pay for electricity consumed in the usual terms, and the places, where you can make a payment, have not changed.

The representative of IDGC of Centre and Governor of the Bryansk region in the meeting discussed the issue of preservation of the former staff of an electricity supplier of last resort. Oleg Nosov said that the staff of the former retail company was in full force employed in IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division with the existing terms and conditions of wages and social benefits.

In turn, Nikolay Denin expressed satisfaction with the results made by the specialists of IDGC of Centre to prepare and begin performing the functions of an electricity supplier of last resort in the Bryansk region.

Please, be reminded that at the end of January this year, six major retail companies in Russia, according to the decision of the Supervisory Board of NP «Market Council», for the debts were deprived of their status of an electricity supplier of last resort. On February 1, 2013 retailing functions in the Bryansk, Kursk and Orel regions were transferred to IDGC of Centre. Thus, to date, three branches of the company perform a full cycle of activities for the supply and sale of electricity to consumers.
