Voronezh power engineers of IDGC of Centre have planned a large-scale repair campaign

IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division has planned large-scale repair activities in 2013.

In total this year Voronezh power engineers are planning to perform a major overhaul of eight substations of 35-110 kV, to repair ten transformers of 35-110 kV, more than 400 transformer substations, over 1,000 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead lines and 573 km of 35-110 kV overhead lines.

Power engineers also plan to repair supervisory control and technology management means, buildings and vehicles involved in the repair and maintenance activities.

As part of the repair program power engineers expect annual activities on clearing ROWs along power lines.

According to Deputy Chief Engineer – Head of Production Assets Management Office of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division Alexey Burkov the repair program execution is the main guarantee of timely and efficient preparation of power equipment of the branch for the autumn-winter peak load operation. «This year the branch plans to significantly increase the amount of repair work. We hope that the activities of power engineers will help improve the reliability of power supply to Voronezh consumers,» stressed Alexey Burkov.
