In February the trade union of Kurskenergo had 360 people new members. They are employees of the new retail department, formed after the acquisition of the status of a supplier of last resort in the Kursk region by IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division.
The specialists, who were transferred from February 1 from OJSC «Kurskregionenergosbyt» to the Kursk branch of IDGC of Centre, continue to work today with full preservation of the terms of their employment contract. Many of them the first day also wanted to become members of the trade union of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division. Currently, a total of 72% of the new employees have filed their applications.
It should be noted that the trade union of OJSC «Kurskregionenergosbyt» consisted of only 170 people. For less than a month twice that number joined the trade union of Kurskenergo. Employees of the retail department have participated in the competition by catching fish from the ice and prepare performances for creative amateur contest, which will take place on April 19.
Not only active sports and creative life of union members of Kurskenergo attracted the new employees. Kurskenergo’s trade union — one of the largest in the Kursk regional branch of All-Russian public association «Electrical Trade Union» and one of the most productive for the social and labour rights and professional interests of power engineers. Staff is paid salaries on time, there is a regular indexing of the payroll, benefits and some payments are provided set forth in the collective bargaining agreement of the company. If necessary, the trade union provides other material aid.
«Transfer of staff from one organization to another is always accompanied with a stressful situation. For our part, we tried to minimize any inconvenience caused by this change in the lives of professionals of the retail department. Now with the entry of our new employees to the union, they will be involved in a variety of social, sporting, cultural and recreational life of the enterprise, which, I am sure, further will accelerate their adaptation in the team of Kurskenergo,» underlined the chairman of the trade union committee of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division Nikolay Kalinin.
