In 2012 Smolenskenergo actively connected consumers’ facilities to the grid of the branch

In 2012 power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division fulfilled their obligations on grid connection of consumers to electric networks of Smolenskenergo. Over the past year the branch executed 2941 contract for grid connection — this figure is 37.3% more than in 2011.

Of the total amount of the executed contracts 2358 were signed with individuals with a capacity of 22.94 MW. The total capacity of connected facilities was 61.6 MW, revenues from services — 44.4 million rubles. The most activity in the field of grid connection is still carried out in individual housing and small businesses.

During the reporting period a number of large facilities was connected, including LLC «Factory Filikrovlya» (1350 kW), CJSC «Argus Pipeline Service» (1000 kW), LLC «Techinvest-M» (1000 kW), CJSC «Alvid» (1373 kW), CJSC «Tander» (780 kW), FSI «ODEZ FTS of Russia» (700 kW), and LLC «Tool» (692 kW). The branch actively connects facilities under the long-term target program «Preparation for the celebration of the 1150th anniversary of the city of Smolensk» for 2010-2013« in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

During the period specialists of Smolenskenergo provided power to social facilities. Among them: Federal Centre of Traumatology, Orthopaedics and Prosthetics with its capacity of 3660.63 kW, OGBUZ “Smolensk clinical TB dispensary” with its power of 125 kW.

Number of requests for grid connection is growing, seminars and workshops on the subject are actively visited by representatives of businesses and individuals. This shows a steady increase in consumer demand for the service “Grid connection”, which is beneficial to the socio-economic development of the region.
